Hello All; I bought my Murano on Jan 15th 2008. I burned a tank of gas already to see what the mileage would come out to on a non-broken in Murano with mixed city and highway driving. Note that I do have a heavy foot at times so this is no school teacher/soccer mom driving style :)
The results are:
19 Gallons of Premium Gas
410 Miles
21.57 Miles Per Gallon
I am impressed.
Remember it will get better mileage in the summer and when the engine is broken in more with the added miles.
Inside the fuel door it states regular unleaded, for maximum performance premium fuel is recommended. |

| That sounds excellent. How does that number compare with the on board computer monitor thingy. |

| Well, mine is accurate. I did the math first and then compared the computer and it was on point. The fuel warning light comes on and you get an exclamation point within a triangle in the center display. It says you have 30 miles till empty. Once you get below 24, it will display dashes. I was a mile from a gas station and filled up with 19 gallons of gas. I think it holds 21. I have to check the manual |

No. This is the only vehicle forum I'm on. I imagine there are a few 'pop's' out there. :D
Thanks for the info. I have an '07 SL AWD and love it. Fuel economy is not the best right now though. Hoping it will get better as the miles pile up. I have a Thule Frontier ski box on the roof, so that probably is knocking it down a little, as far as fuel economy. I was thinking of keeping this '07 til it dies, but after seeing your '09, I'll probably change my mind when my lease expires in 2012. Who know's what will be available by then :). |

| Pops; when the supply increases, test drive a fully loaded LE so that you can really appreciate it. I am sure you will really like it. |
