| 2004 MO "SE" awd shifts fine in auto mode. will not shift up or down in manual mode. shifter moves, nothing happens. any ideas? would be appreciated! |

Welcome to the forum.
Is the check engine light illuminated? If not, then the problem most likely is in the "Manual Mode Switch Circuit". According to the Service Manual this is not an OBD-II self-diagnostic item so it will not throw an error code. The manual goes on to say the problem could be the harness, connectors, or one of two switches located in the console-mounted shifter assembly.
