With everyone talking about the 2009's being in the showrooms, one person already having one, and several people at least test driving one I'm wondering why a local Nissan dealer in North Jersey is advertising 2008's.
What happened to the 2008 Murano? Is there such a thing?

Nissan elected to release the newly redesigned Murano as a 2009 model, so there never was (nor will be) a 2008 model. That also means the 2009 MO will be available for at least 21 months. That's a long time for a model year.

No such thing as an 08 Murano.
The model following the 07 is just coming out (late) so Nissan made the decision to call it an 09.
