30,000 Mile Maintenance Happened? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Long time reader, first time poster!

I just purchased a 2005 Murano SE AWD with 31,000 miles. It didn't have any maintenance written down in the manual...do you think there's any way I could tell if the 30,000 mile maintenance was completed? Or if I took it to a mechanic, would they be able to look at the parts to tell?

Oh yeah, and the car didn't come with a front license plate holder (and I don't even see where it could attach). Any ideas where to get one of those?

Thanks!

Obviously the car is from out of state, may be tough getting the records.
30k maint? Pissssshhh. The only thing that needs to be done is climb under Mo and look for leaks. Maybe change the cabin filter, do a search here for it, it's a piece of cake 5 minute thing. Oh yeah, check the air cleaner.
Besides those, really, there isn't anything that needs to be done, if it has fresh oil.
You can't do over what hasn't been done-- so fretting over what they did or did not do is fruitless.

The front LP holder?
Look for two small dents on the bumper cover for mounting. I have had two but have recently had another garage cleanout; I'll see if I still have them. It's a shame folks have to spoil the front end of Mo in states that require it.

Good call...thanks for the quick response!

Do what mgthe3 said. I would only add change the oil and oil filter. It is cheap but can save you a lot of troubles later...
