Definitely better than stock. It has a decent rumble on start up and idle. Sounds somewhat like a FX 35 on casual acceleration and on WOT it really opens up, although I think some of the wot noise is because of the popcharger. Any louder and I think the wife who drives it daily would complain. Overall I'm happy with it. |

| Looks nice. Thanks for the pics. I am still having a problem getting an immediate delivery on the exhaust. I may have to go to a custom shop to get mine made like I did for my 06 Murano. |

My exhaust comes in on Wednesday from Gibson. I feel a cold coming on.
I will bring my camera so I can record a sound clip.
I hope my boss doesn't look at this forum :) |

| sawasan how far up does ur exaust go i have just a flowmaster muff and some 3" tips , do you have 4" tips , yours looks a little bigger and do you haveaside pic yours look like they stick pretty far out? heres mine , i notice almost no hp gains by the way sounds and looks pretty much stock has a good mid tone thow |

Not sure what you mean by how far up my exhaust goes. The tips are 4" and stick out further than the stock ones. Here's a couple more pixs of it. |

Sawasan; thanks for your help. I will post pics of my setup on Saturday. We have been having some nasty rainy weather and Saturday looks like the best day to take some photos after I clean her up.

No problem. Looking forward to seeing the pictures. I'll say I hate a car when you can't hear its exhaust. On both my Mo and Z I changed the exhaust within the first couple months of getting them. |

Well I haven't any sound clips. Compared to stock, it's definitely louder. On startup It is noticable and at idle it has a medium rumble. On casual acceleration, it's louder, but not what I'd call really loud. On WOT, it's pretty loud, but I know the Popcharger from inside the car is as loud as the exhaust. I think if you're looking for sound a custom flowmaster will be louder. As far as power, it hard to say, but there's not loss there. And no problems other than one tip is a little out of being perfectly straight out the back.
I got the stainless steel exhaust which is polished but not to a perfect shine.
I think I've heard the Gibson exhaust on You Tube a while back. |
