Has anybody had any experience with any of the tire chains and the valve stems on the Pressure monitoring system? I had Mr Tire do my old Acura CL and I am very happy with their service and products("on the rim and out the door"). But when you replace tires they "always"(or at least claim to) replace your valve stems. Aren't the valve stems an integral part of the pressure monitoring system. I know I could tell the desk clerk and they could relay it to the tech. But as my luck would go they would miss it, mis-interpret it or something else and the tech would put plain stems on and nullify that feature, or wors make it unsafe.

| I'm sure enough vehicles have TPS now that tire shops know to re-use the stems... besides, I would assume they re-use the stems any chance they get anyway. I've had numerous tires shops handle my TPS stems without an issue ever. |
