Touch up that Mo - Click HERE for Original Thread

I'm driving on the highway, and some big 18 wheeler cuts me off, and he's hauling gravel. Next thing I know it's raining rocks and debris and it sounds like someone just shot the front of my car with a machine gun. I quickly avoid the truck from there on, but the damage is done. I notice there are several nicks and dings and chips in my paint.

I am hoping to get good information from you detailers or hobby shop workers on how to clean up all those scratches, chips in the paint, and dings to the body without paying a premium price.

Any advice?

I know it is too late, but if you had been able to get the name and/or license plate number you could have filed a claim with the trucking company. It is illegal to transport cargo that is not properly secured. They would be liable for the damage and their insurance company would cover the cost to have your car repaired professionally.

Any of you ever touch up paint on your car? If so, what'd you use and how'd it turn out?
