I cant seem to find any info on whether the tire pressure system will work w/aftermarket rims. Anyone know? And if it does- how??

it should work, you just have to keep the valve stem from your TPS with the new rims, there is a nut that you have to loosen to take it off and put it on your new rim.

I've been meaning to ask this for a long time.

Is the hole the same size and does the rim shape come into play?

In any event, the rim manufacturer should know and many people have done it so there must not be any issues.

The TPM assembly (valve and transmitter) fits through the standard size hole for the valve, but the back side (the transmitter side) is larger and may have difficulty fitting some specific wheels.

I can't imagine a wheel design where they wouldn't fit but then I suppose Nissan has to cover themselves as it could be an issue.

I think if you just specified with the wheel dealer that the TPM's fitting would be a requirement for purchase, you'd be OK.
