Drove the LE today - very nice indeed. 1st time driving any CVT and it seemed fine to me. Good pickup from 35 to 80 very quickly and without any seeming strain. Seat heaters for both bottom and back worked very well. Instrumentation easy to read in direct sunlight. Did not have NAV or the MusicBox thingy. Ipod connection was in center console so can confirm that it is not dependent on the Music Box - it does come with the connector. Seats comfortable and visibility pretty good. Loved the fact that the seat moves back and the steering wheel up and in when you shut off the engine - assume that this is an LE feature only, but not sure.
Competion will be MDX which I have driven and also liked very much.
If anyone knows how to access the Owner's Manual on-line that would be very helpful. |

I think most people are going to like this car.
I predict sales will go up.

Hey jimmy - thanks for the review. I have yet to do my test drive but will once I get back from FL in 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to it. The more I've research the '09 MO the more I'm liking it. My direct competition is the RDX so it's interesting how you are looking at the MDX. I will probably test drive the LE since that would be what I want but after talking with someone here I found out I can get the SL with the features I wanted for $2K less so I'll have to look into that a little more. Those features would match the RDX's features.
Let me know how things go and what you decide on and the price you paid. |

I don't really think you can go wrong with either vehicle. I sat in all of them during the last auto show that came to Philly and I felt like the Murano felt the most comfortable.
With the RDX you'll be giving up a little bit of leg room, cargo space, payload, and towing capacity.
With the RDX though you'll get a faster vehicle that also has a year longer warranty/road side assistance.
Give em both a go and let us know what you go with. |
