Not sure if this is Rhetorical or not.
How do you feel about buying your 2009 at the beginning of 2008?
Does it bother you that when 2009 actually does role around you car will already be a year old with many thousands of miles?
Just a stupid curiosity question from a "Sheila". |

Not that I'm going to do it, mind you......but I would look at it just the opposite.
Look how long the 09 bought now, will be the "current" Murano.

SUNSPOT-
Here's another perspective... In 2009, people interested in buying a new car will walk into showrooms and be staring at a one-year old Murano. Most will not be fooled.

If you're going to rack on miles onto a vehicle, it really doesn't make a difference about an extra 10k-15k here or there...unless you are planning on selling it in a near timeframe.
I would view it as the opposite, the vehicle will be one year "newer" when you do go to sell it due to your extra 2008 year of ownership. |

1. Better than the person who bought a 2007 at the beginning of 2009.
2. No. There are already several other manufacturers who have come out with 2009. It's all a game. |

| I think this is actually good for 2009 Murano owners - they can advertise it as a 2009 even if its over a year old, in 2009. Not so good for people who buy the vehicle and do not know specific model years though, but then thats what Edmunds.com is for. |

I love mine! I purposely bought a 2009 because the 2007 just didn't get it for me. For one thing, the 2009 is a better car than the 2007 model, IMHO.

Not at all. See above. I'll just drive it, enjoy it and not expend any energy over whether it's a year old or not. :D |

This is how I see it. Your car will be worth more when you sell it than it would have been worth as a 2008. The buyer wins on this one. |
