well after over a year of research, we finally recieved our 08 G35xS. the infiniti won out the competition between the bmw 335i, lexus is350, and mercedes C350(all the vehicles we looked at are fully loaded and the price difference b/w the g and the competition varied from 5-15,000) just before we decided on the G we were about to purchase the 335i sedan from the states but we heard horror stories about getting service done on american vehicles in canada. i went to the car show last night as well and i honestly wish i could have gotten my dad to step foot in a cadillac dealership because the new cts is absolutley amazing. the quality is top notch and it's just a really cool looking vehicle! and it's about the same price as the G. i think i'll be purchasing the coupe version of the cts in a few years. i've grown quite fond of gm in the last year. they are the only american company pushing quality and style back considering their huge market loss'. anyways enough rambling, here are some pictures after a quick was and wax(2 coats zaino z8 and a coat of nxt wax) we recently just had the windows tinted(23%) entire front end 3m'd and we had the sport rear spoiler installed. i will get pictures of those mods as soon as it warms up again.

haha good one gonzo! actually the mo and the G are both bed pals lol. i just brought it out of the garage to take some snaps :D

That is the car that I would give up my MO to my wife for. I don't know if you had a chance to read the Jan or Feb issue of Car & Driver. It compared the CTS, BMW 328i, G35, and Mercedes C300. The G came in second to BMW - what a surprise from C&D. They say they're not, but they are completely bias when it comes to BMW. They ranked it higher on braking then the G, yet the G beat it in stopping and had to do it from a faster speed. The said the G had monster power, but made all sorts of sounds.
PS,
To make sure CTS did not have a chance winning, even though they ranked it first in Top 10 car comparo, all the cars had to be equipped with standard versus the automatic. That is how they justified it coming in third. The auto was great during the top 10 comparo and the standard stinks. Again, who are they kidding! If they don't have special interests in BMW or something, then they are just plain stupid when it comes to rating.
