The Murano posted very strong sales figures for February 2008.
10,074 MOs were sold in February. That is a 24.4% increase over February 2007 (8,100 units).
Year-to-date MO sales are 15,763 units, which is a 8.0% increase over 2007 figures (14,595 units).
Overall, Nissan NA sales were up 0.9% as compared to February 2007, but down 5.3% when compared to 2007 YTD totals.
In their press release, Nissan claimed that "February 2008 was the best February sales month on record" even though their daily sales figures were down by 3.2%. Thanks to leap year, the February 29th sales were enough to push them over the top.

| Unfortunately it seems that the Murano, Versa, and Altima are the only vehicles from Nissan that continue to increase numbers of sales. It will interesting to see the new Maxima coming out at the NY Auto Show shortly. |

The numbers are deceiving. The February '08 sales numbers also include any new 2007 MOs sold during that period.

the day i bought my 09...... i saw about 5 other 09 driving around..... and not around dealer lot area.....
the new front end and very improved interior is selling quite well in this area I think... |

Yeah its the way things are packaged.
