For the past few months, my Muranos driver side window has been acting flaky. If you would try to use the auto up feature of the switch (pulling the switch all the way up) it would go a few inches than come back down. This morning (27 degrees out of coarse) it went all the way down, than will only come up about 6 inches, than goes back down. If you hold the button up it will stick at that same position, but thats it. Any thoughts on fixing it? New window motor, new switch, hammer?

Well, I ripped everything apart.. Seems as though it isn't riding in the track properly. It will go up if I help to pull up on it while I hold the button up. I called around and they have a regulator in stock. Does it include the tracks, and everything to fix the problem? It is $85, which isn't too bad. I found one from a junk yard in florida for half that.

I had a similiar issue while under warranty. As I recall they replaced the motor (which includes the regulator.

Ok well.. so far so good.. The motor is fine, as I've read on how to check it. Hopefully someone knows what the "regulator" comes with.. If it includes the tracks or not.

You can check out Courtesy Nissan's parts website, which has a pictoral catalogue of some of the parts (www.courtesyparts.com) - or you can just call them and ask - I've been buying parts from them for years now and they've always taken very good care of me. |

the regulator contains the tracks, not the rubber ones but the metal ones attach to the inside of the removable metal door skin.
