| does anyone know if a bull bar ment for a first gen murano would fit on the new 09 models? |

No it will not, I traded my first gen Murano and dealer looked to transfer the bullbar. It is a different vehicle.
I'm waiting for a bullbar from Romik. They have side steps and my dealer sells them. |

is there going to be a more economical brand that wont cost me $500
i had a westin safari bar on my frontier and that only costed me $120 including the bar and the mounts.....
for something that looks pretty similar besides slightly bigger and in a chrome finish instead of black.... i cant seem to see why it should cost 4 times more |

I rather wait for something that is made for my vehicle, the universal bars never look quite right.
I don't get it, we pay top dollar for our rides and when it comes to accessories we look for the cheapest. sorta like wearing a nice suit with cheap shoes. my 2C (nothing personal) |

of course i am not going ot use my frontier one on there because it'd look stupid and just wont fit.... i will only get one specifically made for murano
I was just wondering why the romik bull bar which looks very much like the westin safari bar would cost so much more.... is it made of sturdier material or is it just more expensive because it is made to fit a more expensive car.... hahaha |

Good question, I had another brand on my last vehicle because it looked a little different. I had rusting problems so I changed to Romik and it looked and performed well. What I like is the fact that they make the item so that it contours the nose of the vehicle and the Westin piece is a universal bar. you buy the bar and the brackets.
The material is also different, I like polished stainless steel because it is easier to maintain. The westin is chrome however chrome stainless is of lesser quality to allow for the chrome to "stick". My neighbor has a Touareg westin bar that started to peal after one winter.
I've done my research and it is just my opinion. Not trying to sway anyone in any direction.
