So I test drove an LE today with all the bells and whistles. I have two questions.
What's the deal with the dual panel sunroof? Why aren't you able to open the cover without having to open the entire sunroof? And why did they design it so both have to open at the same time versus having separate controls? Just seems like a very odd design. Especially the fact that the only way you can get sunshine through the roof is by having it open, and no retracable roof cover.
Also, we hooked up my wife's iPhone to the iPod adapter and she got a message on her iPhone saying it wasn't compatibale. Any one else have an iPhone and found a way around that?
Overall the test drive was great. A very smooth ride, good accerleration, and good interior. |

the cover does open without having to opening the glass too..... you just have to press it right.... and the 2nd moonroof does not open at all... only the cover....
there was another thread about ipod campatibility saying how the firmware version is different from generation to generation so that may be the issue..... try hooking up a ipod video or a old nano to it.... |

Paul,
If you push and release quickly only the sun shade will open. A quick push a second time opens the moonroof. Or you can push and hold for a second or two and the sun shade will open followed by the moonroof.

For the moonroof, its a two stage switch. If you move it partially in one direction and release it will do just the shade. If you fully pull it, the shade and roof move.
Regarding the I-Phone, I believe its a firmware issue. |
