Has anyone figured out how you might be able to open the Rear hatch manually on the 09 LE? There doesn't seem to be any way? Problem is pulling into the garage and opening the hatch to empty, I have to manually stop it from rising before it hits the garage door opener rail/ceiling. You get a pressure type reaction and door then begins to go down. Doubt interupting the auto opening process like this is good for the mechanism long term.
Any thoughts? |

Right near your gas opening button to the left of the steeringwheel there is a switch to turn off the power hatch.

Thanks Homer... Must have missed that one in the Owners manual. Only 2 inch thick books, how could I have missed it?
Even the Service people at the Dealership didn't know when I asked?
