| I have a 2003 Nissan Murano with a satellite button. When I push it I get the error "NO SAT". How do I tell if the car is prewired for XM. My local nissan store is clueless. Please help. This should not be rocket science!!!! |

| Even though you have the sat button on the radiom more than likely you do not have the actual Sat box installed. The Sat box sits behind the left rear seat, almost under it. From the hatch area, you should be able to lift the "flap" that covers the rear of back seat on the left side and check for any loose wires or pig tails there. If so, you have the wires. All you need will be the box and the antenna. |

| It should be pre-wired for it, but you need the actual unit to plug in. Search around for things like Satellite radio install, there are some good threads on how to do it yourself. Those threads would also point out where you need to look to find the connectors. |

Hey Yoakum14,
Chart A, page 2 of the document you attached says 2004 on Muranos are pre-wired for satellite radio. My 2003 WAS NOT.

Oops, sorry, I stand corrected. I thought all the 2003's were pre-wired. |
