Does anybody actually use the cargo cover? Mine is in, but I never use it and it seems to just get in the way. I could see using it if you regularly carry valuable items back there and want to cover them up, but does anybody have any other uses for it? I am thinking I will just take it out and store it in the attic.

I do actually use mine, but my hatch is always filled with items. |

No.
I have 2 yards of black clearance fabric from Walmart (total cost $2)
I call it my abracadabra security shield.
When you cover items with it and look through the window, the hatch looks absolutely empty.
Everyone who has seen it "live" has spent $2 and now uses this trick. The illusion is amazing.
I have photos in my gallery.
It also doubles as a kneel-on pad to change a tire! |

Mine along with the cargo net are always in, holding and covering a blanket, an extra jacket, and an umbrella, all the stuff that I hardly ever need in California....:D

Mine is alway in and out depending on how I will be using the MO. I do find that it reduces some road noise from the back when it is in. If I'm busy with work(I'm a contractor) it's most likely out.

Mine is in ... the basement. Right where the Jeep's cargo cover used to be, which is where the Subaru's cargo cover used to be. I find it gets in the way whenever I need to haul something that requires folding the seats down, which is often enough to not bother carrying the cover around.

Mine's always in use unless I have to remove it for some large item.

Mine is in place all the time, but I find myself having to remove it every time I haul something more than just groceries. Hasn't really bothered me, but if it does, I might just shrink wrap it and store in the basement.

Mine is sitting in a corner of my garage - it takes up too much luggage space and I frequently fold down my rear seats to carry big things.

Gotta keep my sub out of site and out of minds of scoundrels. :creeplook

:29: It is a ridiculously-engineered, over-priced piece of crap, but I like it because it hides whatever is in the back.
