Blue or White lights (bulbs) for 09 Murano? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hello
I just got a brand new 09 SL Murano.
I did not get the technology package (the one that includes the HID lights)
I have been searching in several web pages for a good bulb to change the factory yellow one.
I found some whites and blue aftermarket bulb that looks that can improve the original ones.
Any recommendations or previous experience in this regards that may help me make the decision?

thanks,
G.

Improve the original ones? Improve them in what way?

What I mean is getting more light.
I had a corolla before the murano, and I replaced the original bulbs with some blue ones, and the difference was from here to the moon. I lot more clear light...

I am looking something as close as HID lights as possible...
thanks,

g- I had the "bright blue bulbs" in my '05 Pathfinder and changed mine out. Just a suggestion- before you buy those blue bulbs, check out Daniel Stern lighting website at http://www.danielsternlighting.com/
He has a few things to say about the blue bulbs and what they do to oncoming driver's vision. Look in the "tech" section under "bulbs." I bought some Narva plus 50 low beam bulbs from Daniel for my Subaru and some of his Toshiba HIR high beams, which are bright without the current draw of the high wattage bulbs. None of that fakey blue stuff, just pure light.

I love my new HID's on my 09 LE and trust me, there is no comparison with standard bulbs. I can see why people put brighter bulbs in their rides but in the end, they ain't HID's and never wil be.

buy one of those HID kits off ebay.... plug and play.... very simple.... if you lucky you can find a kit for $70-80 including shipping....

if the murano uses 9007 bulbs like the old sentra then all you do is plug the connector that goes into where you would stick the halogen bulb into the HID box thingy and then plug the HID bulb into the headlight housing.... and then secure the box with tape/screws/bolts/watever and you are done......

since HID last a lot longer than halogen.... buying a kit is actually a lot cheaper in the long run compared to buying high performance halogen bulbs like silverstars which can burn out in a year....
