I'm looking at a 2007 AWD MO and the badging on the rear says 'S' but when the VIN is entered into a search system it calls it an 'SE'.
Is this correct - i thought they were two different models? |

If the shifter does not look like this, then it's not a se. (well at least in the us)

2007Murano-
Does it have fog lights, a rear-view monitor, and automatic on/off headlights? If not, then it is an "S" model.

You likely don't have an SE - the SE has the manual shift option as wa4qfy suggests - I know because I have a Canadian spec SE. The SL and S do not get this feature in the US either. Canadian spec SEs also get the HID Xenon headlights as a standard feature.
I understand the S model is not sold by Nissan Canada (US Model only) and therefore it is entirely likely that the Ontario DMV calls it an SE as an arbitrary thing. However, a very well equipped S is a fine vehicle and nothing to be sneezed at. :D |
