hey guys
My wife's MO started to get a soft spongy feel to the brakes. I thought maybe the calipers were seizing so I took them apart and changed the front pads. ( I did the rears last year) The old pads were worn substantially more on the inside so I thought my suspionsions of the seized calipers was correct.
When I put it all back together it had the same feeling. I then bled the fronts and still no improvement. There was no air coming out. They work fine and still stops great, I just feel the pedal goes down too far.
Any thoughts? |

There have been situations where the master cylinder/brake booster have experienced issues on some Muranos - that might be the source of your problem. |

How old is the brake fluid in your system? Have your tried to bleed the rear also?
If may also be worth flushing your old fluid out to see if that helps. |
