| When is the light for the passenger Air Bag light supposed to come on if it is supposed to? On my Armada the light goes off when some one sits in the passenger seat. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

On the MO, the airbag light illuminates only if there is a problem.

I don't have a sunroof, so I am not sure about the light you are referencing. I thought the only airbag-related lamp was on the dash. Sorry, but I can not help on this one.

| On newer cars, the airbag passenger light usually says "passenger airbag off." It is illuminated when the front passenger seat is not occupied. If someone is sitting in it, the light turns off. This basically lets you know if the front pass airbag will deploy or not in a crash (lightweight people or a child seat will likely not trigger the weight sensor to activate the airbag and turn it on). |
