Ok, we just purchchased a 06 murano. It already has the bose sound system in there and the back up camera with the 7 inch screen or whatever size it is.
What other parts do i need to make the gps work?
is there any kind of auxillary output for ipod on bose systems?
Thanks! |

Welcome to the forum.
It is not an easy task. However, another member recently took on the task and has posted details of the project. Here's the link to the thread: CLICK HERE

Can somebody walk me through this, or let me no what parts exactly I need.
I already have the color screen for backing up, and for checking tire pressure
What else do I need and where can I find them at.
Any help much appreciated. |

Did you check the post I referenced above? It has the list of required items, part numbers, pics, etc.
Buying the parts from the dealer will cost an arm and a leg. Your best bet will be to try and secure the items from a salvage yard.

hey jldrake,
If you read the post on the link above it explains in detail the parts and part #'s for adding OEM Nav. I believe(and you can confirm with your parts man at dealer) that 06' & 07' are the same, but not sure on that. Call them and give them the info as to your date of the MO and month it was made and they will be able to give you the exact # 's for your vehicle. Then start shoppng at salvage yards for a
NCU,DCU & dash harness out of a 06' MO with navigation. You will also need the Navi AC/AV switch which will work with your current Bose radio.(approx. $320.00) Just switch them out. It will work!! If you need the excel spreadsheets for the harness when you get that far, I can e-mail them to you. Like njjoe said, you can do it, it just takes patience & time. Oh & money.

Check out Phoenix54 pics on this and he shows you where
the NCU goes.

One More thing,
You have to CALL the Salvage Yard and ask them specifically for these parts as they won't post them on the internet usually. You have to really investigate and check things out carefully.
