Hi,
Just got a Murano LE 2009. Every car accesory site only has 08 models. I am looking to get a bugflector for my ride but am not sure if the previous models will fit the 09. Any ideas? I know it is very new, just wondering if 08 Murano bugflectors will fit the 09 Murano.
Thanks. |

There was no 08 model. Nissan went from 2007 straight to 2008.
My guess would be that the sites that say 08 Nissan Murano are either
A) Meaning to say 09
B) Disreputable and not worth buying from |

FYI, I originally put a bug deflector on my 2005 MO (I think it was a Weathertech) and I ended up removing it. Annoyed the hell out of me.
Problem is that it created some disturbance with the airflow that affected the water on my windshield when it rained. Rather than the rain traveling up and over the window, it caused the water to stay on the window and swirl, making it annoying for visibility.
I won't say that it was dangerous, the water DID go off the window, it was just annoying. |

Funny... jkster107 is saying the webiste meant to say 09 instead of 08.... sought of how jkster107 meant to say 2009 instead of 2008 in his comments. :2: "There was no 08 model. Nissan went from 2007 straight to 2008." |

| Another option might be to go to a custom auto shop to have a clear "plastic" bra applied. It the kind that adheres to the actual surface. |

So are you waiting for an aftermarket bug deflector because you are dead-set against the factory one?
The factory one *is* available, you know...

| Try this web site www.courtesyparts.com This is where I got my side window deflectors and my rear cargo protector. They do have a bug deflector but they do not have any pictures of it. They deliver pretty fast. This is the part # 999D5-Z5108 |
