Your best bet is to buy an unpainted bumper from a parts supply house and have it painted by a body shop. That's what I did when I had to repair my Jeep's bumper.
Oh, yeah, that's not a skid plate you are looking for. A skid plate is found under the car. What you are looking for is the aluminum bumper protector.
World Parts Express (www.worldpartsexpress.com) sells the bumper cover for $212. YourNissanParts.com sells the bumper protector for $50.
Any body shop will prep and paint the bumper for around $100.
