I have been trying to find a replacement part for my 2004 Murano. The rear seat cup holder needs the right side wing that holds the cup in place. Any suggestions as to where I could purchase one? Thank you.

Mine is also broken on both sides. The kids ended up stepping on it very early in our ownership.
I went to the dealership to find out how much it costs and it was $160.00 CDN for the entire cupholder unit. Apparently there is not "part" replacement for the little wings.
It's the worst designed location for a cup holder to begin with and the outcome was pretty obvious.:4: |

DD-
World Parts Express (www.WorldPartsExpress.com) sells the cupholder for $84.84. That is better than $160 CDN, but still way too much, in my opinion.
I suggest you go online and check salvage yards.

I had mine replaced under warranty - per the dealer they have to replace the whole unit - they cannot replace just the "clip".

How long would an item like this be coverable under warranty? I have about 3,000 miles remaining on mine.

I would think it is covered by the Basic Warranty, unless the dealer claims it was caused by negligence.

It would be of no cost (except time) to inquire at the dealership. Be nice and try to get the manager to agree that it was a poor design to begin with to see if they might be able to do it under warranty or maybe even at happy agreement somewhere in between.
