I noticed in the last week some significant condensation in one of my headlights. I can't see a crack or hole anywhere, and the water is not "standing" at the bottom. Its just condenstaion on plastic.
the day I noticed the condenstaion I also noticed the HID headlight was not working.
I have an 04 with 42K miles on it. I guess i expected the bulds to last longer than that.
Does anyone think the water caused the light to stop working? Or is the condensation buidling up because the light stoped working and the heat from the light no longer "bakes" out some of the normal condensation.
My wife usually drives the MO so I don't know if the water came first or the burnt out light did.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance... |

MNM-
According to Nissan a small amount of condensation on the interior of the plastic housing is normal.
I would think the bulb burning out is just a coincidence.
