I have an 05 SL and just installed a wireless license plate camera for reversing. I don't drive the MO much and when parking I find I stop 3 ft away from the other car. My wife doesn't parallel park so it wasn't a problem for her.
It works great but I want to hide most of the wires for the LCD. I think a dash mount is one of the few spots I can install it so I can pop the vent covers off around the radio but anyone have an idea where to hook up to 12V? I thought of mounting on a visor and using the mirror light but don't know how to get at the wiring there.
Any suggestions or alternatives?
Thanks in advance

| How about mounting it by the shifter, something like THIS. I think the screen will fit and you will not even need to build a housing or covers for the sides. Then power can come from behind the dash or under the shifter clister. |

What kind of 12v are you looking for? constant 12 or switch on ignition |
