I have a Delphi SA10000 XM radio that I am going to mount in my MO. I rescued it from my wife's car which we traded in. Her new wheels have a built-in unit so I get to inherit the Delphi. :D
I have a sunroof and I have been eyeing up the flat surface on the overhead just behind the sunroof controls. It looks like it is big enough to be a good spot, and the head liner has a hollow space behind it to hide the wiring. I pulled off the stripping and peeked inside the headliner today.
I don't really want to drill holes in my head liner. Has anybody ever mounted a satellite or other device up in that spot? If so, how did you do it, and how did it turn out? Now that the job is done and you've been using it for a while, are you still happy with the location?
