Service Manual - Click HERE for Original Thread

I'm hoping somebody can help me. I just went on the Nissan tech site and bought the service manual for 24 hrs. I wanted to download the pages, but the PDF is not letting me view any of the info. I cannot find any threads on the manual, but I know I've read about it on here before. Can somebody who's downloaded the manual please help me out, and let me know how to actually view the pages? Thank you!

I downloaded the file a long time ago and things may have changed since, but I remember I had to use an earlier version of acrobat reader to view and save the files. Try version 5 or something around that neighborhood to see if it works.

Hopefully more recent users will chime in and help you out.

Thanks. After installing and uninstalling various versions of adobe and trying three different web browsers, I was finally able to download the embedded pages. Didn't take too long either (Fios :) ).

Silver, can you post what eventually worked for you? Other members may have the same problem.

I remember when I downloaded it I had to go into each section and save it separately.

I ended up with 45 separate PDF documents for the manual, each having to be downloaded and saved individually. Was a pain to do, but was worth it.

Corin-

Sure, it wound up working with the combination of Adobe Reader 5.1 and Netscape (don't ask me why I still have this on my computer). I opened it IN the browser and was able to access all the pages, saving each as a PDF. I thought I was being slick saving them by the name of each chapter, but then I realized that if you leave the filename as-is, you can still open all PDFs from the "fwd" file.
