I need to tow a motorcycle but my Murano doesnt have a hitch. I am thinking of buying this one or one like it:

Seems easy to install.
My question is, do you think this will work find & how do I go about lighting for the trailer? (Brakes, Signals, etc..) |

A lot of people on this forum have installed a Curt hitch on their MOs. Not sure if it's the exact one you linked, but Curt definitely makes one that works for the MO.
Do a search for "Curt" "Install" "Hitch" and you should get several threads on the subject, including some installation tips. Definitely do-able, depending on how much hassle you want to deal with wiring. |

Wiring your MO will require a wiring kit from Nissan ($100). There are others available but if your MO is a US one; the hook-up to the wiring in the car is not too hard. I believe that there were information posted in this site on how to do it.
I have a Curt hitch and it has served me well. It looks different than the one on the link and I purchased on eBay for $65.00 US new. It came with all the hardware and instructions. |
