Dear MO owners,
I just bought my MO, 2005 SE AWD. It has 115K kilometers on it, so the warranty expired.
I`m wondering whether I need an extended warranty.
Just noticed a small leak on the axle seal on the driver seat side.
It would cost me 200$ or so to fix it.
I have read in the forum, few posts complain about the cost of CVT Replacement.
If I buy an extended warrantym will it cover the failures like axle seal leak or transfer case leak?
I spoke to warrantydirect & they said they cover only the failures caused by the failure of Internally lubricated components for Transmission, CVT, Transfer case, etc.
Did any one ever buy the extended warranty from warranty direct? Is it useful in case of big failures in MO? |

| when i bought my 05 which is about month ago , the dealer tired talk me into that extended bumper to bumper warranty ,it costs me $1400 ,which add to my monthly payment is about $16 per month,well at that moment i did't take serious think of it ,instead i bought the door dim warrenty . only $6 per month ,just in case ,i dont wanna get any hit-and-run ,while i park my car at wal-mart paking lot |
