I had an idea of a painting the silver grille black on an already black 1g murano anyone heard of this or know if it will turn out good? I recently saw the new murano GTC and i think it looked sweet here is a pic.
Please leave some opinions or pics. Thanks. |

The Murano GTC is a one-off built by Nissan about two years ago as a concept vehicle. Only one was built and there are no plans for a production model. That's a shame.
Several members have painted their grilles black. I think it looks great on a black MO!

Looks nice man, i have a question now what type of foglights did you put in? wa sit just the bulb or was it a whole kit? Because the fog lights are DRL's in Canada and i want to get white ones.
Also what type of paint did you use for the grille im doing mine this saturday. |

The fog lights in the lower grill were part of a kit that I ordered from PIAA and had installed at my dealer's accessory shop.
The stock fog lights have yellow bulbs from Hoen and a protective blue covering on the outside from Lamin-X.
The grille was also done by my Nissan dealer / accessory shop because they primed it and used the same black paint...it was a little expensive to do but I think its worth it cause it really changes the looks of the MO.

Sounds good, does Hoen sell white fog/DRL lights that i can pick up in Canada? or are they only yellow? because i dont liek the yellowish color my stock ones have and i would love to find white ones...

| I believe they do have regular white bulbs, and I'm pretty sure you could possibly have them shipped to you or even locate a retailer. |

Sounds good, now you just have the bulbs right there is nothing else is needed? and is this what most Murano owners do if they want to add white fog lights just replace the bulbs or do they buy like HID kits for the fog lights or do thoes not exist? |

| I have a question what is the difference between HID's and the normal fog lamps? because im so confused the more i try and look up the more lost i get. whats the highest temp ( as in like xxxxk ) i can get useing the stock 51 watt socket? |

I did paint the grill on my silver Mo silver, and it looks great.
I did it at a porfastional buddy shop about 6 moths a go using the paint from the dealer.
no problems, never the less they gave me no worrenty on the work.:2: |
