im trying to hardwire my valentine one into our 09 murano i'm not sure where to get power from. i ordered the power adapter from valentine and the wire taps clamp things also. in my audi i stuck the hot wire directly into an empty fuse slot that the avant uses for a rear wiper. since i have an S model i noticed there is a slot for heated seats and since i we dont have them i was trying to use that slot but the male part didn’t fit in that location. is there a wire somewhere under the dash i could tap?
i need a 12v source about 15amps i believe.
where have you got the power to wire you gps or other accessories?

| Easy, tap into the dome lights above the mirror. That is what I did. Search for a thread here, someone posted a picture of that exact wire. I used it to wire up my Passport X8500 radar detector and its perfect. |
