Nothing specific needs to be done at 30,000 miles.
Just continue with the regular intervals for the maintenence items - oil and oil filter, engine air filter, cabin air filter, and tire rotation.

| If you have an AWD model I would change the drive tran fluide (not the CVT fluid). IF you have not done yet in the past check your battery level if you still have the OEM battery. |

Um.... OR you could ignore Gonzo when he talks about batteries and take other peoples' advice to REPLACE your battery with a non-Nissan one around 30k.... :)
If it hasn't been replaced yet, you might want to look into it. Many people have reported the OEM battery failing between 30-40k, so taking care of that BEFORE it dies might give you some good piece of mind.
Plenty of threads talking about batteries, just do a search. You can get good ones for relatively cheap (i.e. costco which many people have been very happy with) or you can go top of the line and spend extra on something like an Optima Red Top with AGM. |

NJJoe is correct that nothing needs be done beyond normal oil change/oil filter change/air filter check/cabin air filter check and tire rotation.
If you really want, you can change out the antifreeze and flush (recommended for cars using the "green" stuff every three years or so). The transmission fluid is long life and doesn't need to be changed (apparently - even if you tow a lot like me! Dealer service just called to tell me I was fine and didn't need a tranny flush at 43K). Also, you can load test the battery (mine crapped out after a little over two years) and check the serpintine belt for cracks.
Other than that, the Murano really is a low maintenance, long life vehicle (knock wood!). |
