Just installed factory sirius tuner in our 05 MO SEL. Have Nav, Bose and am geting minimal infoin toe screen. All we get is, "SR CH XXX". Audio performance is as expected.
How do we get channel number and description, CD title, artist, track name, track number, etc. Am looking to get as much information as sirius broadcasts.

Try pushing in the tuning button (knob on right, opposite of volume). Pushing it in once should pop up the artist and song.
Note that every time you turn the car on, you have to do this. Same thing with the ipod magic box. Don't know why it doesn't show up as default, it's always annoyed me, but you get used to hitting that button every time you get in the car. |

| Oh, and I believe the only info you can get is the channel number, channel name, artist, and song title. At least that's the way it was on my XM. |

I don't have Satellite (at least not the OEM) but I understand you can get a lot more data on the screen from sirius that from XM.
By the way, hit the button Corin mentioned a couple of times. Once past base, treble, fade, etc adjustments, you should get to a screen that let's you set the channel to name, title, etc. Set it to what you want and then see if it will hold after you turn off the radio and back on. |
