Has anyone installed these on their MO? They have good ratings on Tirerack.
I am interested in these as well as the GY Fotera Triple-Tred. So torn.... |

I went with the Kumho Solus from tire rack. Let me tell you, what a great tire. I ave a set of Goodyear tripletreds on my wife's Honda that are only a month older, and honestly I have to say I like the feel of the Kumhos better.
Not to mention the better warranty and price. Go with the Goodyears if you think you will be driving in ALOT of snow and ice, otherwise, the Kumhos are a great all season radial. |

Thanks for your input Special Ed. How does the tires handle in rain?
Occasionally we get snow in the philly area.
You can't beat the price of Kumhos though. |

I moved from the Philly area to North Carolina.
I drove the OEM Goodyears until around 60k miles.
They began to get slippery when wet.
I purchased Kumho Solus KR21's from Tirerack.com and had them installed down here. They have a nice profile, much like the Goodyears. After about 1 year and 20k miles, they are holding up great. Seem to be quieter than when I 1st got them and they are very good in rain.
Other than some initial problems with vibration, due to balancing, they are fantastic and economical. I have mine rotated at regular intervals and keep them at around 34lbs and they seem great.
GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Hi elliotgb,
Did you have your tires installed by the dealer or 3rd party?

| Well, broke down and ordered the Kumho Solus KR21's from tire rack. You can not beat the price and tread life. Thanks to all. |

| Just did 1500 miles round trip from Chicago to Ontario, and back both ways in the rain pulling a 2k lb. boat and trailer. The Mo handled EXCELLENT in the rain, even had a few close calls with deer and moose that called for heavy braking and evasive manuevers. Quality/Cost ratio on these tires is very high, I would recommend them in a heartbeat........ wait that's what I'm doing now isn't it? |

I had my tires drop shipped to a local tire installer recommended by Tirerack.com. They did a great job and my tires are standing up well. |

Big mistake...These tires STINK...!
I also had them shipped to me and ended up carrying them in the car for a couple of days. It took a while for the smell to go away...:o |

I think he means odor wise and not value or performance wise, lol.
We did want the chocolate flavored tires, but they weren't available |

That is right. These tires have an exceptionally strong odor. So do not carry them in your car, or if you do, leave the windows open or you might faint!!!!!
Otherwise they are great tires. |
