| I just changed my MO to synthetic oil at 28K. miles. I know there has been recent discussion about the pros and cons of the different types of synthetic oils and filters, so I'm interested in your bottom-line preferences. What type of synthetic oil do you use, what filter do you prefer and how often do you (realistically) change the oil (poll question)? |

Nice poll. My guess is that the average will be around 4 - 5,000 miles.
I use Mobil-1 5w-30 oil and Mobil-1 filter at the manufacturer-approved 7,500 mile interval.
This is the first car in which I have used syn-oil.

| Just switched over to 5W30 Mobil 1 and a K&N filter(both oil and air). Plan to replace the oil/filter at 7,500 miles. |

Mobile-1 Full Synthetic 5W-30 oil and Fram filter every 5000 or so miles.
Seems to work well... |

| I go back and forth between synthetic and dino oil all the time. They both get changed around 5k to 6k miles. More often if I get a free oil and filter change in the mail....:D |

| I do AMSOIL 5W30 full synthetic with AMSOIL filter. I just change mine every year about the same time. |
