Hi to all,
I have been having issues with my side view mirror control switch--the one beside the awd button at the center console. My right mirror will not move at any direction, while my left mirror will only move up and down. when I press the memory setting button on the door side--only the left mirror moves to the settings. I dont know if its the vegas heat that screwed up something here or what. Before when its cooler it functions ok but now it has never reponded at all. I tried reinserting the switch to the power outlet but no dice. Nissan parts wanted 90 or 100 bucks for it. not even sure if its the problem or the motor on the mirror itself. However, when I tried playing with it I dont hear any moving sound on the right mirror at all---could mean either there is no power supplying the motor coming from the switch or the motor is broken--but the mirror has never been hit or anything. I'm guessing the switch. But 100 bucks? Called a few pick-a-part places(wrecking places). They dont seem to have any muranos around vegas- Found one but he said he sold the center console already.
Anyone having similar isues?

| Sounds to me like it could be the switch itself or the motors in the side mirror assemblies. Do you have a Service Manual? If you do then you can look up the tests necessary to ring out the system. |
