So.....I replaced the speaker in my rear passenger door on my '04 Murano and put it back together being careful to reconnect the two cables that open the door (one is for open and close and one is for locking and unlocking?). I closed the door and was able to open it with no problem.
I ran an errand and when I got back the door was locked and I couldn't unlock it. I suspect that one of the two cables came loose and that although it was working when I tested it, as soon as I locked it via setting the alarm, something happened. Is it possible to get to that area with the door closed? I have a bad feeling and picture having to take it to a dealer.
Any ideas? Suggestions?

try to pop the little plastic cover that goes around the door handle without breaking the little clips.
Then hope you can see the little silver ball attached to a wire that controls the door. If you can find it, give the end of it a little tug and the door should pop open.
