Anyone had trouble with the CD changer? When I start my 05 MO the CD changer clanks about 4 times and stops. No CD's will eject and it won't even play any.
I went to a sound guy down the street who told me the Murano has no replacement radio or kits yet.
I pulled the fuse but all that did was reset the clock.
Any suggestions? |

Sounds like it's time to take your CD player apart to get your CD's back. Once the changer is fried, there's not much you can do to get them out. The dash unit comes out quite easily so you should have no issues.
I had to tear into my wife's Sentra CD player once because it wouldn't spit out her favorite CD. After it was in pieces, I scooped it all in the trash and got her a new one. |

Mookster-
I had the very same problem with my 2005 MO earlier this year. Fortunately for me the MO was still under warranty so the dealer replaced the unit.
A few members have had their out-of warranty units repaired by Audio & Video Service Stop. You will need to pull the unit and ship it to them. They repair it for a fixed fee and return it in a few days.

| Excellent link. I had no idea places like this existed. But...the new custom head unit for my wife's Sentra doesn't cost that much over their price; even with installation. At least I had fun tinkering... :D |
