While giving my dash a bit of a wipe down with the ignition key in my pocket I was surprised when the six disk cd player started pumping out disks when I wiped off the buttons.
I would have thought that you would at least have to have the ignition on and the deck switched on before the player would eject cd's but I guess Nissan and Bose have other ideas. Hell theives have to eat I guess.
I wonder what else works with no key?
Anyone else think this is unusual behaviour ? |

But then there would be people complaining the stupid MO has to have the ignition on to remove a CD, why my old xyz at least had that, what's wrong with those lousy french japanese guys anyways?
:D
But yeah, that feature is a pain while cleaning, surprised me too. |

| I think a stupid design in the Murano is not having at least one hot outlet in the passenger cabin without the ignition on ACC or ON. Now I understand Nissan doesn't want someone plugging in something and leaving it to drain the battery while the car is off, but honestly a cell phone charger can run off a car battery probably forever and forever and not drain it appreciably. |
