| Hey folks...rather new here...the driver's side rear seat won't lock upright after being laid down yesterday...any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks. |

Check the pull/rip cord thing on the side of the seat. I had no idea it was there till about a year after I owned the car.
There are two, one for each section. Maybe it got stuck or something.

While you are checking that one; don't forget the one in the trunk to make sure that there's noting interfering with that one also. Give it a couple of "flicks" to see if the cable for the release is binding. |

| I had this happen on a customers Murano at work. At 1st I couldn't figure it out and I saw the front strap had somehow found it's way out of it's usual location. Repositioned it and it worked again!...:2: |
