Having taken my driver's door apart a number of times to install link to the auto locks and replace my driver's door lock mechanism, I started to have problems with the power windows - auto up on driver's window inoperative, LR window inoperative, driver window inoperative all intermittent. I discovered that the pins in the master window switch harness connector developed some play (in & out)and didn't always make contact. I guess at the dealer (where I never go), this would be a harness replacement (if they could figure it out).
I fixed it by holding the pins all the way in and applying hot glue to the exposed tangs and in the wire sockets on the BACK of the connector. No more problems.... |

| That may be the fix for me too. I can open the left rear window from the main switch on the drivers door but I cannot close it. It works fine from the switch on the left rear door though. I still have the extended warranty so maybe I try that route first. |
