Hello Everyone!
I have a 2007 SE AWD. Whenever I drive I can hear a whistling sound underneath the vehicle, but the strangest thing is the noise only happens when driving 30km/hr to 40km/hr.
I took this concern of my to the dealer. They said, "We compared it with another Murano, that is a normal noise."
Does anyone else have that noise? Please lets me know. |

Really? Next time I suggest you ride along with them and see if the other MO really does make the noise.
Many Nissan dealers are notorious for claiming that a difficult-to-locate sound or vibration is normal. That way they can walk away from the issue.

Suggestion: Next time the noise happens take a mental note of your RPM's. Then park it and get the engine to the same RPM. If you have the same noise then it may be an exhaust issue.
I had a 1982 Ford Granada as my first car that started whistling from underneath. Turns out there was a small hole in the exhaust tubing that was causing the whistling.
Your case could probably be a flange gasket that has gone out.
Only being able to duplicate the issue while moving could suggest a meriod of other things. |

I had a technician ride with me once & the service manager other time.
Does anyone recall having this noise? Please let me know i need to build a case with Nissan. |

Did you ride with them in a MO other than yours to confirm their contention that all MOs make that sound?
