I drove an '04 Maxima which had a heated steering wheel.
How on earth can I retro this in an '04 MO?
Why hasn't Nissan figured out that this would be a good option? |

Aww. I would've liked to have had this. If only to say "woo, check out THIS little option..."
Everybody goes "ooh..." when they see buttons and have heated things. :) |

I've been thinking about this also. I think it'd be a great option.
Its probably cheaper to buy a pair of gloves :) |

| Yes it is cheaper to buy gloves, but heated steering wheel is way more cool. |

| I doubt this is a feature you can retrofit into the Murano, since the heating element is within the steering wheel itself. I suppose you can get yourself a Maxima steering wheel (its the same size wheel and design) and custom wire up the heated switch yourself. |

I thought "heated" make it "warmer" not "more cool"..........:D |

My eyes are messed up from reading the SM schematics.:bonk:
Well, I would install a relay fused through the ignition start and run power and sensed through the driver side heated seat switch. Since there are two positions on this switch, you would have to AND the switches - diode.
Also, the SM clearly shows the heated mirrors are energized when the REAR defroster switch is set. |

Forget the heated stearing wheel what I would like is a heated shift knob. Just about stick to that aluminum trim on the frosty mornings.
Anyone know where I can get a knob warmer? :) |
