| I have a broken engine mount in my 90k mile Murano (out of warranty). I was disappointed to learn that this mount failed so quickly. Has anyone had a similar issue with engine mounts, and if so, what did they do? |

| Cause of the broken engine mount is unknown (vehicle has never been driven hard or off road), so I am assuming it is a part or manufacturing defect. Thanks |

The MO has one or two (depending on year and model) engine mounts that are electrically controlled. They are soft at low rpms to controll vibrations and firm up as engine speed increases.
Most likely it is one of the electric motor mounts that failed. It is an electrical failure, not a structural one, and has nothing to do with how the car is driven.

What Joe said, I agree.
Mine failed at 58K and it is basically the wife's car. Rarely even at highway speeds and most the roads are smooth as a babies bottom.
