| I have a 04 SL awd and sometimes when I'm turning I hear what sounds like something sliding in the rear passenger side door. Almost like when they made the thing they left a tool in the door itself. Anyone else experience this? |

| It might not be the rear door - the rear hatch area is where the jack is stored - check to make sure that is secure. |

Funny, but many months after I bought my 04 MO back in 10/04, I was poking around the spare tire compartment and found a 14 inch long, 1/4 inch ratchet extension. It wasn't making any noise - I just found it by accident.
Obviously, someone either at the dealer where I bought the car or someone when it ws being made had left the extension there. It was something I had never used before (let's face it, most car work involves 3/8" or 1/2" sockets), but I have used that extension a few times since I found it.
So I know from recent personal experience that tools do get left in cars. |

I've got a very nice 18" screwdriver that I found in my trunk.
But the capper was an (empty - darn it) blackberry brandy bottle under the seat of of my brand new '85 Toyota Supra. It had been driven cross-state from dealer "A" to dealer "B". It seems the transfer driver had a good time !! |
