the fx35 uses 265 60r18 ( goodyear )
yokohamma makes a geolander in the same size.
has anyone tried using the 265 60r18 on a murano?
Has the same diameter, should work as long as the
tires dont rub.:1:

My FX35 uses Bridgestone Potenza tires (265/60/18). It is much better tire than Goodyear. I am considering this size for my Murano, though I would probably go with Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S G052. This tire has very good reviews at TireRack.

As to the tire with - there should not be a problem.

Are the rim/wheel width the same on the fx and the murano?
Kris
rim sizes:
FX 18 x 8JJ offset 1.57
MO 18 x 7-1/2 JJ offset 1.38

Actually better tire for MO would be 255/60/18 as it provides the same outer diameter. Look at the this post tires

Once my Goodyears are gone I am planning on the Pirelli's

Installed Geolander HTS 52's 265 x 60 x 18 . Upsized tires look good...tires are 1.4" taller / ride height +0.71" / tread width +1.18"... speedo will now read 5% low...75mph will actually be 79mph....cost at full service tire shop $967CAN /approx $750US

Ride not effected...very quiet...handle snow and icey conditions a lot better than stock LS's. I will try to attach pictures soon.

Are you sure the Geolanders are 1.4" taller than the Goodyears? According to the Miata Tire Size Calculator there should only be a
.5" increase in tire height between a 235/65 and a 265/60, which would be 1/4" increase in ride height.

Mort...I stand corrected....tire height +.49"...ride height +.245"....I got the width correct +1.18"...spedo error 2%....75mph actually 76mph

I am looking at the same tire and expect to have them on next week.
Do you have the measured rim spec... I am unable to find that info
anywhere?

I prefer this tire calculator. For different tires in the same size, there usually a wide variance in the actual dimensions of those tires. Refer to the tire manufacturer's website for exact tire specs.
