Murano's Drive - Click HERE for Original Thread

My car was bought brand new it doesnt even have 1000 yet. I used to have an BMW X5 and it drove very smooth ,now, the murano drives good but I can still feel the road when I am driving, and whenever I'm going slow(traffic) the car seems like it wants to shut off, not a battery problem but the motor kinda shuts off, is that normal?

This sounds similar to what I posted under A/C Problem. Or is it different?

Could also be the CVT changing to a lower ratio, for "engine braking", in order to be more efficient. This surprised me the first couple of times it happened.
I would suggest reading up on the MO at the Nissan tech site.

I know this is not the answer for your question.
But I was curious....
Do you have BMW X5 AND NISSAN MURANO?
Or did you sell X5 and get Murano?

Why?

The MO will engine-brake when you let go of the gas, and slowdown can be noticable. If you're going REALLY slow (in traffic, stop and go) you will feel it even more, as the "pull" or "drag" is more severe at lower speeds.
